Thank you The Straits Times for the feature and Bryna for the story. ;)
Back to my trusty salon, Cleo Hair and Make for my regular 'hair update' session! Had my usual trim and decided to do a subtle change to my hair colour after not dyeing it for about 6 months. To me it's considered really very long eh. Can't imagine how I even managed to colour my hair once every 2-4 weeks last time. Well, it's all back to basic now.
Adding subtle reddish copper tone to give it a little more texture.
And it's done! My new hairstylist, Yui have been cutting my hair for awhile now (my previous stylist Ai went back to Japan already) and I really like how she cuts my hair without me having to tell her much. Thanks for the new haircut and colour!
Anyway, honestly speaking, I really love the atmosphere at Cleo Hair & Make because whenever I stepped in there, its super chill, relax and the people there won't give you the tense and judgemental feeling. I don't know if you guys understand what I'm trying to say but you know the 'disgusting' feeling that you might get sometimes when you go to some salon? Where you can sense that the people there are pretty unfriendly and judgemental and the ambience in the salon is so tense and chaotic. It's so laid back here and we (and the other bloggers) always feel very happy and excited to go back there to have our hair done.
That's what I really feel lah because Cleo have been sponsoring me for so long and NEVER once they asked me to write anything about them before. Actually to other bloggers also, they never ever asked us to write for them at all. Yes, you must be surprised right. But they are really like that. And obviously all of us are happy with their services, thus will always mention about them. I really appreciate how they are super easy going and nice to work with! So hard to find nowadays! ;)
Oh hello, my used-to-be-greenie friend!
Taking random shots with my hairstylist together with my new hair!
The colour is really nice but because I wash my hair very frequently, so it became a lot brighter. Therefore, I went back to touch up and tone down the colour to darker tone again. #fickleminded #growingolder
Replenish my Miucota shampoo from them again, which currently I already finished using it! :O Time to go back soon!

Met up with Amelia after I'm done with my hair! Her hair is so crazily long now!
Green x Pink x Blue x Grey
Went to have some tea after we had our early dinner at Mad for Garlic.
Truffle fries! Love love love!
Can't wait to update tomorrow with a Q&A post! :D
I find it really funny that some people are actually so insincere in doing things/work and when they made any mistakes, they don't even bother to apologise at all? Is it true that some people just simply 'get by' from doing their work and think it is okay to not hold responsibility on what they are supposed to do? Worse is that they actually expect people to behave in the direct opposite way from they are behaving. I also hate it when people talk down to someone, making it sound like you don't deserve anything that you might deserve/rightfully deserve/owned. Putting people down is such an awful act and it shouldn't even happen at all.
Anyway, just some random thought although I'm feeling very zen now lol. ;)
Went to meet Isaac and Esther as they wanted to go to a dog cafe. It's my first time to a dog cafe!
Food isn't that fantastic (which was kinda expected?) because I think for all these themed cafes, people are there more for the experience than food. But I must say it's really quite fun feeding all the cute little furry kids with their food.
Look at how innocent this Golden Retriever looks? *.* If I were to get a dog for myself, I would definitely get Golden Retriever because they are so tame and sweet. The last I heard, the 2 Golden Retriever in the cafe is up for adoption.
See!! All of them get so excited and made us excited as well hahaha!
"Everyone will have one mouthful each, please be patient k!"
Outfit for the day! Wore the top and shoes that I got from Shanghai and pants from Topman.

Finally planned a day to meet up with Minting and Chinhao! While waiting for Minting to end work, Chinhao helped me took some photos near Bali Lane as we were also going to go there for dinner later hahaha.
#candid #notreallyagoodshot
With Minting and Chinhao! Back to the place where we took a photo (click to see) at the exact spot 1.5 years back! If you are interested to read the entry of where we met up 1.5 years ago, you can read it here! ;)
Went to have Korean food!
Korean fried chicken! Super yummy!
I love love love fried chicken!
Thick and creamy kimchi soup!
Trying very hard to squeeze my dimple out and for it to be seen!
Had some light Mexican bites and drinks to end off the night.
One last group picture before leaving! Can't wait to see them again soon!
-
Impromptu meet up with JJ and look how happy I am when I saw the fish that I ordered came!
Because it's really HUGE! YUM! :D
-
Being a nice brother *coughs*, specially made a trip out to town area to pass Ran his macbook charger because he forgotten to bring them and he needs to do work. Took a few picture before we parted and I especially love this blurred one!
Sweaters can never go wrong, never.
Went to have all day breakfast for dinner with Isaac and Duncan!
Mum is preparing dinner tonight and we are going to Lo Hei and she the Yu Sheng, she gonna do it herself! Homemade Yu Sheng! Waiting for Ran to be back then we can start dinner! Today is the seventh day of CNY, which is traditionally known as 'Ren Ri' (the common person's birthday), so everyone today grows one year older! So happy growing old and wiser to you and me! ;)

Made my way down to Peugeot Showroom at Alexandra Road together with Ran on a beautiful Sunday morning and both of us were really excited to check out the new Peugeot 380! I've always noticed Peugeot cars on the road because they are usually a beauty and for those who are unfamiliar with Peugeot, it is a French car brand that started out in 1810 manufacturing coffee mills and bicycle. The company then moved into cars in 1858 and has gone on to become one of the biggest automotive brands in Europe.
And recently, I heard that Peugeot 380 was awarded the European ‘Car of the Year’ in 2014 after going through two facelifts since it was first unveiled. That is why I couldn't wait to test drive the car and know more about the great features that it has, which made it won and own the title of European ‘Car of the Year’. Well, it will be the first time I'll be driving Ran too. Really excited! ;)
Arrived at the showroom to many beautiful Peugeot cars. And before I started roaming around to look at the cars, I was told that there were a few patrons providing tasty snacks! How awesome! Just in time since I didn't had breakfast in the morning.
Some cupcakes and pastries from Lamb Cupcakery and The Little Flower Shop!
Kinsmen Coffee and Hic Juice if you got thirsty and need a drink. Really thoughtful of them to provide drinks and snacks for the people that came down to the showroom to view the cars, probably one of the first showroom to do that too.
After getting some small bites and drinks with Ran, we then went to take a look at the new Peugeot 308....
A look at Peugeot 308 and it's appealing to me, with the stylishly sporty exterior, together with sleek and spacious interior. I'm really happy that they actually did an extensive introduction and explained to us the features of this 5-door hatchback.
To me, the introduction and explanation (Q&A) was extremely important because it really allows me to know all the various features better and more in-depth. Also, if we were to visit a car showroom, we would want to know as much information as possible before making our choice isn't it? So having a good understanding of the car is definitely important. Kudos to great customer service!
One of the main feature of Peugeot 308 is the LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, which are usually only found on high-end luxury marques. I feel that the LED headlights not only give the Peugeot 308 a stunning profile, it is also, so much brighter than the usual halogen lamps that we see in most of the cars on the roads. A huge difference, I must say.
It also has a particularly large boot than all the cars in the same segment.
Checking the boot out and the space is huge. I like how the low loading sill and wide opening makes loading and unloading stuff so much easier. Especially when sometimes, you have really long and rectangular items (i.e.; furnitures) and you find it hard to put it in the car boot. So with this large space, we don't have to worry about having no space to put our stuff anymore.
The new 1.2L Peugeot 308 uses PureTech turbo petrol engine and 6-speed EAT6 gearbox - that provides 129hp and 230Nm torque for great city driving and smooth performance, at lower COE and road tax costs. The most compact hatchback in its segment.
I was then told to give a try on the seats as it is really comfortable, and no doubt it is!
Not only the seats are comfortable, their interior are really innovative too. That is why their i-Cockpit interior is also the winner of ‘Most Beautiful Interior’ in the UK. Their i-Cockpit consist of four integrated components which will enhance your driving experience.
It has a compact steering wheel for intense dynamic sensations, an enhancing high centre console and also
high-positioned ‘head up’ instrument panel to easily read the information without having to take the
driver’s eyes off the road ahead.
They also have a large 9.7” touch screen for intuitive driving.
The touch screen is really responsive (I've seen before non-responsive ones and its pretty annoying) and it allows us to control the air conditioning, driving aids (park assist and reversing camera), multimedia, telephone, navigation and configuration.
I really love how they also have this panoramic glass roof that stretches all the way to the back of the car to provide stunning views, no matter in the day or at night. Not only the adults will love it, I'm sure all the kids will love it too.
Was too focus and engrossed playing with the panoramic glass roof until my eyes became cockeye. :'D
At that point, I was already half sold and I'm waiting for the test drive to experience the performance of the car myself.
Ran who was helping me to snap pictures that day, thank you brother.
A shot of us in the Peugeot 308! ;)
Roaming around again and here's another Peugeot 308 with a different interior.
For people who are looking for a larger car model, the Peugeot 308 also comes with the Station Wagon variant too.
And finally its time to test drive the car!!!! I feel that it's only after you test drive the car, then you will then know how good and powerful it is. As a good and safe driver, always adjust and check your mirrors before moving out! ;)
Off I go! Once I started driving the Peugeot 308, the first word that came into my mind was LIGHT.
It is really light and nice to drive, especially for (relatively) new drivers like me. I really love the high centre console and high-positioned ‘head up’ instrument panel because I do not have to change my vision up and down like other cars, where I'll have to check the instrument panel through the compact-sized steering wheel. This alone certainly made my driving experience so much better and I do not have to deviate my vision from the forward view of the road anymore. Love it!
I also opened up the panoramic glass roof, look at how beautiful it is! I love it! *.*
It's also good to know that the car has the blind spot monitoring system technology, where LED is integrated in the exterior mirrors
to warn us of the presence of a car or motorbike in the blind spot. Super helpful! I also tried using the touch screen for GPS navigation to find my way back to the showroom. They also have convenient driving aids such as; City Park Assist too!
Back to the showroom after the test drive and I was awed by the performance!
You can ask Ran how happy I was and how I was singing praises of the car after test driving it! I still wanted to drive even longer haha! It's really exciting to know that there are more options in the continental hatchback market now with the new Peugeot 308 launch and is seriously a strong contender in the segment. On top of all the great features I've mentioned earlier, it also has an excellent fuel consumption of up to 19.6km/litre. Which is another important factor that all of us are looking at.
Anyway, I took a picture of the high-positioned ‘head up’ instrument panel to show you guys clearly what I'm talking about earlier.
I really love this car and I feel that it is suitable for me and my family. Not that it is practical, it is also powerful as well. Can I please drive it everyday? *.* And I'm pretty sure all the drivers in the market would love it too! Well, I think everyone should go down to the showroom to test drive the car and experience it yourself to know. More details of the new 308 can be found here too! ;)
